Welcome to TaxNewAid. These Terms of Service govern your use of our tax documentation assistance and advisory services. By engaging with TaxNewAid, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
TaxNewAid provides personalized guidance on document preparation related to tax obligations. Our team will assist in compiling, reviewing, and advising on documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
1.1 Scheduling and Delivery
Appointments may be booked via our Contact Form. Services are delivered in person at 80 Wellington Street, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A2, Canada or remotely by arrangement.
1.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule or cancel appointments up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time without any fee. Requests made less than 48 hours before will incur a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the service fee.
1.3 Refund Policy for Services
If a service is cancelled by TaxNewAid, clients will receive a full refund within 14 days to the original payment method. If clients cancel as outlined above, any applicable refund will be processed within 14 days. Certain premium offerings are final sale and not eligible for refund due to preparation work undertaken. These nonrefundable services will be clearly marked before purchase.
2. Digital Products
TaxNewAid may offer downloadable guides, templates, and instructional materials ("Digital Products").
2.1 Access and Usage
Upon purchase, Digital Products are available immediately for download. Clients are responsible for maintaining a copy of purchased materials.
2.2 Refund Policy for Digital Products
Digital Products are nonrefundable once access has been granted, as value is delivered instantly. If access issues occur due to technical errors, contact our support team within 7 days for assistance or possible credit toward another product.
3. Physical Items
Occasionally, TaxNewAid may supply physical goods related to document organization or tax planning, such as binders or printed materials ("Physical Items").
3.1 Shipment and Handling
Physical Items are shipped from our warehouse and delivery times vary based on destination. Shipping fees may apply and will be disclosed at checkout.
3.2 Send-Back Policy
If a Physical Item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 7 days. We will arrange to have the item sent back and either replace it or issue a credit within 14 days of receipt of the defective item.
4. General Refund Procedures
All refund requests should be directed through our Contact Form. Approved refunds will be issued within 14 days to the original payment source. Clients may also request to apply any eligible refund amount as credit toward future services or products.
5. Liability and Dispute Resolution
TaxNewAid’s liability for any claim related to these services is limited to the amount paid by the client. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Ottawa, Ontario.
